My name is Marion Delépine. I am a native French speaker registered self-employed in France. I translate from English into French. After obtaining my Master's in English, I traveled and worked around the world for several years, which inspired me to become a translator.
I have been a full-time in-house linguist for five years before offering my services as a freelance translator. From my collaboration with authors, translators, editors, and designers I have learned to go beyond simple translation and produce content that is culturally relevant to the target audience.
My specialization falls into the broad area of international development – sustainability, peacebuilding, biodiversity protection, human rights, women’s empowerment, public health, etc.
I contributed to a wide range of projects including global reports, press releases, training materials, discussion papers, case studies and contract documents.
I am always seeking new challenges and opportunities for my professional, and personal, development. Above all, I would like to make a positive impact in the world through my career.
I can help you adapt your content, linguistically and culturally, so that it resonates effectively with the target audience.
I am always happy to discuss potential opportunities – if you have a project you need a hand with, I would be very happy to hear from you!
